One day we should discuss what make one group of people "crooks" while another group are not crooks for basically doing the same thing. Over charging for a service or item.

Res, Its about how long... has this been going on in this area? High gas prices here out pace the rest of country. why? From what im told NOCO keeps the prices high yet they say NO. Gas station owners stand together to keep prices high. Right now have to give some credit to delta sonic for dropping prices and keeping the price of gas almost 12 to 10 cents lower than any station around here, and mostly likely taking some heat for it but good for them. If one station can do it the rest can its coming from the same place. Two friends of mine haul gas all over from PA. to WNY and East. They say NOCO is the problem and the gas station owners... as soon as they hit Rochester prices are down same truck same gas so why? So I call them crooks for ripping off the people for years in this area Iam looking at the time frame of what is going on.
Crook..someone who has committed (or been legally convicted of) a crime or is committing a crime. politicians fail to investigate wrong doings. WHY???

How do you like those gas prices in the past last 12-15 days? Citco, Sunoco, and Mobile are the leaders one citco station have been raising prices almost 5 to 6 every other day. Remember how slow it took the gas station crooks to lower the prices in this area when prices were falling.. Now they raise them very fast... people your getting screwed big time.

same old why gas is going up.

Why are gas prices going up again?

Gas prices are starting to rise again. The nationwide average is $2.37 a gallon, up 34 cents in the past month.

In Southern California, the price at the pump has spiked a record 79 cents, according to AAA. Drivers are lining up to fill up before prices go up again.Refineries go through a maintenance cycle during the switch over. That means production is lower.

An explosion at the Exxon Mobil refinery in Torrance, California, last week made things worse and a strike by steelworkers at 12 refineries across the country is impacting 20 percent of oil production. Nationwide, gas prices had been dropping since April but have now gone up for 32 straight days.

And if you needed one more reason to hate this wicked winter, it's also costing you money. Extreme cold in the Northeast has slowed production at three refineries that account for more than two-thirds of East Coast oil output.

Analysts say prices will jump another 15 to 20 cents in the next few weeks.

prices keep going up but no one has a reason why. do not by your gas on NF blvd. the crooks have prices well over $2.82 I seen $2.86. still playing games with the prices around this area.
How about the prices at the RES chief white owel keeping prices only about 20 cent difference from right here. They pay no taxes on it .. it should be close to 50 cents difference. I wouldn't by the gas at the res let the chief lower prices.. he is ripping U off big time..

Its not the Arabs they are letting the oil flow..Further oil market oversupply looms as some Opec members expected to raise output

The National -- The oil market is poised on a cliff as the current 2 million barrels per day (bpd) of oversupply could be flooded in the second half by a further 3 million bpd of new supply from Iraq, Iran, Libya and volumes from other Opec members seeking to regain lost market share.

Opec agreed on Friday to continue with its 30 million bpd production target, but actual production continues to be well over 31 million bpd and the accent remains on market share, rather than underpinning a $100 per barrel price.

Here it is what BS this is... Great Lakes sees gas prices spike on refinery issues...

Motorists in the Great Lakes have likely noticed that gas prices in the region have skyrocketed this week. The timing is ironic, considering my post earlier this week that gas prices had peaked.

All was going to plan until Wednesday, when the weekly report from the EIA, the government agency that tracks petroleum supply, showed a large drop in both crude oil inventories and gasoline inventories, a story we covered, saying it was a potential game changer.

So why the heck did gas prices spike in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, West Virginia, Illinois and Wisconsin? 1.Wednesday’s EIA (DOE) Weekly Petroleum Status Report showed a large (surprise) decline in crude oil and gasoline inventories. The market was not expecting this, and clearly, a big decline in supply is bullish. That led oil prices to gain some 3% Wednesday.
2.Several regional refineries are partially down for either maintenance or malfunction: Citgo @ Lemont, IL, ExxonMobil @ Joliet, IL, Phillips 66 @ Wood River, IL, PBF @ Toledo, OH, Husky @ Lima, OH, Valero @ Memphis, TN. This is a very long list, and as a result, there have been several “hot spots” (mostly in Ohio) that are dealing with running out of gasoline at the rack (where trucks pull gasoline from tanks).
Supply is extremely tight, likely made worse by several unique blends of summer gasoline in use just across these states. In fact, just in the midwest, I estimate there are half a dozen different types of summer gasoline. With all these refinery issues, things are tight and thus sellers are hard to find, and offers for what little gasoline is available, are increased.

    Will it go higher?

Well, it could, should there be additional or unexpected refinery issues from this point forth. The market has digested the current supply picture, but if another refinery in the region goes down, we certainly could see prices surge over $3/gal.

The good news is that this is all temporary for Great Lakes motorists. Eventually, refinery issues fade away as they come back online and increase production. Already, supply from the Gulf Coast is headed to the region, thanks to the lofty premiums here. The system is working, but it takes time.

For the rest of the nation, prices at the pump may tick up slightly because of the response to the EIA report, but I remain steadfast that we're in the 8th or 9th inning with this gasoline price rally.

the rest of the country is stable no huge real big increases like here... so once they fix all the problems will the gas go back down 60 cents.. dont bet on it..

barrel of oil is down almost to $47.00 a barrel .. the gas station crooks in this area are keeping it up. maybe a penny drop at delta sonic to 2.72 .. they are all hanging together thats for sure.

Chief white owl at big indian finally dropped his tax free gas 2.39 its worth the trip to fill up now your talking almost 43 cents cheaper from the cheapest around here. Dont buy gas on the NF Blvd they are still at 2.80 and over. seen this yesterday when headed to the gun range a joke. crooks for sure.

Shortly before the EIA report was released, oil was trading down $0.27/bbl at $47.71/bbl, but as of 1:30pm ET, crude oil had rebounded to $49.11/bbl,up $1.50/bbl. Meanwhile gasoline was trading down half a penny prior to the report, but jumped and was up nearly 2 cents a gallon as of 1:30pm ET.

lets see what the crooks in this area will do.. and how slow it will take to fall again.
Gas prices are dropping, have been dropping, and are going to continue doing so for at least a few more months. As the longest streak of gas price decline since January keeps going on, there is much more to come. A number of states could end up paying less than an average of $2 a gallon by the time winter rolls around.

just came back from spending some time in Charlotte visiting friends and transplants from WNY.. wow one thing the news is not saying is how many families continue to leave this area and move to the south.. they now have clubs in charlotte if u transplant from this area u can join and meet people from wny that live down there now. Talked to a lot of them and said they would never move back to wny .. #1 reason taxes, next would be jobs. just unreal what is going on down there.. I told most of them come back home we now have harbor front.. and the canalside... paid $1.99 a gal in a few spots and $2.05 most of the time..

Filled up by chief white owl on the way home in irving.. $2.19 saved about 61 cents a gal.from prices around here. so the crooks are keeping the prices up around here while the barrel of oil has now under 45 bucks a barrel... I seen one mobile still at $2.78. BS...

Crude oil slides below $45 as oversupply fears persist
Market Watch -- Oil prices traded near multi-month lows Thursday as a persistent oversupply continued to spook the market.

Resilient U.S. output coupled with high production from other major suppliers and worries about China’s economy have soured investor sentiment in recent weeks.
