This ebay auction ends in a few minutes

1970 convertible currently at about $27,500 and the reserve isn't met yet. Red isn't all that bad but not with a red interior. No contrast.

I could just do it in a dark primer and make it look like a Mad Max car

Not sure what I'D do but I had a BRAND NEW 1966 GTO, 4 on the floor, bright red. WORST car I/WE ever had. I drove it to FL and used TWELVE quarts of oil coming back. Pretty car though.

I used to have a 1964 Chev Pick-up 1/2 ton and drove that to California and back (back in the 1970's). I would pull into the gas stations and say check the gas and fill up the oil. (lol) I know what you mean, they sure do look good.

    Those were Australian Fords, IIRC.

So what do we think of this color:

This is a camero sprayed in the color we are thinking about. Charcoal gray interior with black dash....and a Black top.

Ken painted the car below several years ago...

    Remember we started with this:

    1970 pontiac GTO

    Pontiac 400 Engine

    Rebuilt Pontiac 400 Engine

I'm glad gasoline prices dropped some

This chart displays the original colors from 1970.

    2059 sort of.

I'll paint it any color. Doesn't have to be on the chart.

We did hit a snag with the headers. They were not welded properly and there was a hole.. They are sending a new one.

I would never buy an exhaust from the people I did. It took over 2 months to get a replacement header from the people who actually make it.

All I can say about the company working on my car is wow. They know how to build a car.

He even polished up the stainless steel exhaust

The new header came in and they were able to start bolting everything together.
