honestly, not surprised. just trying to get to the bottom of what the hidden agenda was. anything passed at a work session spells trouble.

So what do you think they did give them a big pay raise?
    What were they making before?

    Actually:

Deputy Town Clerk $ 54,238 -- Deputy Town Clerk $41,000.00

Deputy Receiver of Taxes $ 46,099 -- Deputy Receiver of Taxes $52,000.00

Just to set the record straight.

By the way, I wonder who the two people are and why they changed the amounts?

i wonder if they flip flopped these positions, because there was some cat fighting going on in the clerk's office. as i recall, the 2 people involved in these positions are Kim Burst and Claire Ferrucci (Alice Magierski's friend). this could be the reason they passed the resolution so secretively.

this has been the towns practice for awhile, they have a work session somtimes during the week or on a sat morning. they also will meet before a town board meeting in chambers to settle things. they know what will be passed before the board meeting so that way you don't see them fighting over items that are on the agenda in front of the public. No way like amherst.
these two items were settled by what ever board members were present at that meeting, put on the agenda for the meeting voted on and passed. i beleive this wiil be passed on mondays board meeting.
