    I am Buffalo Niagara' replaced

After a five-plus year existence as the primary tag line for the Buffalo Niagara Enterprise, the region's primary economic development marketing and outreach agency, has debuted a new catch phrase: "Buffalo Niagara: Where Life Works."

People who wonder if the glass is half empty or full miss the point. The glass is refillable.

Doesn't sound very zippy to me, but I'm not an employer. Maybe employers like that kind of thing.

"Where Life Lives..." would of sounded more positive.. "Where Life works" doesn't sound fun at all. Does it? "Where Life works to support someone else"

My feeling is that putting the word "works" into a catchphrase is a good way to kill off interest.

I mean, does that make it sound like a place you'd want to live?

How about where life "enchants" or "entralls" or where "life won't kill you before your time due to gridlock, high crime and outrageous housing costs?"

and then, what about Buffalo Place's "Buffalo: The Real Deal"
what's that supposed to mean? they're trying to make it sound like "no illusions" again, but, if this is the Real Deal, what do we have when we tighten it up and chase out all the staus-quo politicians?

You make a good point. Each group that promote buffalo tries to come up with a tag line.
