Help us return albert the alligator to his owner!

HELP US RETURN ALBERT THE ALLIGATOR TO HIS OWNER!

As everyone has probably already heard The DEC and SPCA took Albert away from me saying that I put people in harm's way with him. Every one who has met Albert or knows Albert knows that this is not true. I took care of him better than most people take care of their kids. They changed the rules 2 years ago about what you need to do to have an Alligator. I've had him 34 years and abided by all of them and renewed my permit annually as required. I tried renewing it when they changed their rules and had questions to ask. They ignored my emails and phone calls to make sure I did everything right even though I should be grandfathered in. I will have a court date when they provide it. I ask it all of my friends and people who love Albert will support me when this date comes available and if you can join me at the Hamburg town court to help me fight them to get him back. They also brought at least 20 or more agents to my house in full body armor and guns treating me like a criminal. It was like I was a gun dealing drug dealing criminal the way they acted. The scene that they made on my street is very disturbing and totally wrong. I am very upset and angry about this whole incident! I will post the court date when it becomes available. Thank you in advance for everyone's support!

I'm in the middle on this one. As long as the alligator is happy/healthy he shouldn't have been taken. It's Tony's choice to put himself at risk and perhaps become a meal for Albert.

Don't you find it odd "government" is worried about public safety and Albert but gives a dam about safety concerns with an open southern border?

11-foot, 750-pound blind alligator seized from Hamburg, NY, home, gator used as attraction

Authorities have seized a 11-foot, 750-pound alligator that was illegally kept at a residence in Hamburg, New York, a town about 20 miles south of Buffalo.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation in a news release, said that the alligator was captured Wednesday by officers with the department "in the interest of public safety and the health, safety, and protection of the alligator." It is not immediately clear what prompted the alligator's capture.

The alligator was turned over to a licensed caretaker, "who will house and care for the animal until it can be properly transported for permanent care," said the news release.

Hamburg police and the Erie County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals assisted in rescuing the reptile, which was placed in the care of a licensed caretaker until a long-term solution can be reached.

I wonder who the licensed caretaker is. I didn't know there was a need for licensed "alligator" caretakers in Erie County.

Anyone that would go through the expense of installing an indoor inground pool for their pet, I would say loves his pet.
He certainly isn't an abusive pet owner.

I emailed 2 of the more popular "reptile" youtube channels. Asked if they could weight in on this issue.
