Ryan Miller May Have Cost Sabres 1st Round Pick

Ryan Miller's lackluster play in the Blues loss to the Blackhawks may have cost the Sabres a 1st round pick. Art Wander has the story at All Sports WNY.

I have always thought that Ryan Miller during his time here with the Sabers was just an average goalie.
The sabers should be glad they are getting a draft pick for him and did not was a huge sum of money in resigning him.
It is time to forget Miller and move on.

It is odd for Art to be upset about a guy not leading another team to the second round of the playoffs when he was traded because he couldn't lead the Sabers to a first round of the playoffs.

So when a team gets new management how long do you think it should take before they are play off quality? What weights heavier? Coaching or the players?
