No. I subscribe to www.FUH2.com
Yes. I need the false security of the ridiculous vehicle.
Latest news is that GM may sell the Hummer brand to a Chinese manufacturer. Would you buy a Chinese Hummer?

As I mentioned in another thread, they may end up renaming it as the "Happy Ending."
Americans with there penchant for cheap consumer goods would by anything if it were cheap enough.
I just read an excerpt from a book about a Marine regiment (fox company) that fought the chinese at Chosin, Korea in 25 below zero. I wonder if any of them would drive a Chinese car.
Here we are funding their economy, now they are our biggest note holder.
Then again there are GM pensioners buying toyotas.....its crazy. Then again they probably realize they had been shoving crap off on the American consumer for decades.
What the hell is wrong with us?
a Chinese Hummer, hmmm, making up for the lack of something by owning the biggest vehicle?
If I had the money I would buy a hummer, but only if it was built by americans.
Which is why every vehical I own, is an american made vehicle. Even my lawn mower was made in america.

Exactly! Who would know better, than a GM retiree, as to how crappy their cars are made?
The only reason they drive them while employed, is because they get discounts and they realize that other GM employees will vandalize anything but an "American made" vehicle in the GM parking lot.
Wrong. It was assembled in America, from "imported parts." And they neglect to qualify what percentage was actually assembled here...probably the dipstick was inserted into the crankcase- and THAT probably qualifies as "American Made."
Just like the misinformed fools who think that their Harley Davidson is "100% American made." Many Harley parts are imported from outside the U.S. and virtually ALL aftermarket parts are imported.
And you are WRONG again....
Unlike most of you folkds I wont quote the person directly above me...
My lawn mower was built in 1972, while cub cadet STILL had their manafacturiing facilities HERE.
However replacement parts are made in Mexico.

After the sales closes, the Chinese will probably close all Hummer dealerships and anyone who wants to buy a Hummer will either have to go to Walmart or buy it off the internet.
