the skating and the penny arcade where you threw the pennies to make the bell ring???? my parents would save the pennies for me to bring - they played too lol

Remember for a season or 2 when you could ride the comet forwards and backwards?And..the sugar waffles at Crystal Beach were the best!

Hot Dog Alley. That's where I met "Silly Sally."

I must admit, I had to drink a lot of Brador beer before her "ride" became appealing.

The more you drink, the better they look.

Crystal Beach was a BIG day for my parents when they were young, for me, and for my kids. The sandy sidewalk with the anticipation of beach, rides candy and souveneirs.

I did ride the Comet backwards. It was in that mode its very last day when I was there.

Crystal Beach started out as a Methodist retreat, but so many people 'crashed' it that it became public. I'm sure they have regrets about tearing it down. We need it!
