    Stony Road is closed - no realy - its closed.

    Please stay off Stony Road - for real.

    A massive hole left for the weekend has ended other than local traffic. The whole has damaged a few peoples cars who have tried to sneak threw.

    Its made worse by the recent rainfall and exposed soil.

    Ellicott Creek flooding due to Rain water and saturated soil has always occurred on Stony Road. The new road is in no way supposed to help that situation. Its a road.

    County Officials stated, "There's no storm water system included - culverts and ditches wont be part of this project." - this was echoed by contractors, and Clarence Highway Department(The County Claims Stony Road falls into their area for maintenance purposes)

    So please stay away - one car had to be pulled out by the road crew using construction equipment.

    That's all the bid was for - DESCRIPTION: Reconstruction of Stony Road from Genesee to North Bridge approach. Rehabilitation of Stony from South Bridge approach to Walden;

    Nothing about storm water system in the bid.

    I noticed on their site, there is no Lancaster maintenance district. Isn't that a Erie county highway department site on Cemetery near Erie?
