So do you think Congress and President Obama will still go for it even though only 9% of Americans want military action. Just think how much MONEY the people who make missiles will profit from this.

    Obama's irony, McCain's agony
By Gloria Borger, CNN Chief Political Analyst
updated 10:10 PM EDT, Wed September 4, 2013

(CNN) -- All presidential decisions are, in the end, difficult and complex. And under any circumstance, the decisions on issues of war (surgical strikes included) are agonizing. The decision to use force -- the repercussions, the cost in blood and treasure, the geostrategic implications -- is complicated and the implications obviously immense.

And yet, here he is, on the verge of supporting Obama—and taking on the libertarians in his own party. And not because he likes him, and not because he likes the policy—but because he believes that a congressional no-vote could be "catastrophic" for the nation. In the end, he may still balk because the mission, as defined by Congress, is too narrow. But he clearly wants to find a way to stand with the president.
Why would not dropping bombs on Syria be catastrophic for our nation?

BS...No there not. More propaganda and lies from our state run media. The decision has been put to Congress and they will govern by the will of the people. You don't have to be an Einstein to see that this is highly unfavorable with the American people. Seems pretty cut and dry or at least it should be. I am so sick of every political move having to be "SOLD" to the country. We've got to have Billy Bob Clinton going on a sales pitch around the county to praise Obamacare. Whats next? Will they hire Vince the ShamWOW guy for immigration reform?Washington is one big infomercial and we have really lost our ways. The citizens of this country need to plan a massive backlash if this action is approved (like withholding taxes). Its time to hold the political parasites accountable, they will keep chipping away at our rights until there is nothing left.

I don't see Congress voting yes on this. But watch the ones that do. They are most likely the ones with large donors or stock holdings in companies like GE, Raytheon or Halliburton.

What about Obama? 9% and he's still gung ho about it. What is his agenda? He has always told us the the vast majority of America wanted everything else he rammed down our throats. If its only 9% why hasn't he figured it out yet?

5 years into this Presidency and all you've got is the failed, bumper sticker mantra from the losing candidate, aka: "the quitta from Wasilla?" LOL.
