The "intervention" President Obama eluded to started when we put $12Million tax dollars in the pot for the "Rebels/terrorists" - now we will escalate that situation as soon as enough people believe what the media is telling us.

We will lose money and American lives in Syria.

If I were supporting military action in Syria, maybe. But since I'm not...

If anyone is a hypocrite, it is the people chastising Obama for just considering military involvement, when 10 years ago, they were cheering on a full-scale invasion on even less evidence.

"Basically no wars". Don't remember seeing that on the bumper stickers.

You did remember seeing bumper stickers being anti-war in general. That was one sticking point that democratic protesters had against President Bush.

What is your opinion on bombing Syria?

    [QUOTE=WNYresident;1181454]Democrats rally against Iraq war

I wonder where these people are
What Happened to the Antiwar Movement?
Obama's 2002 Speech against the War delivered by Supporters "

Their all at Democratic party meetings preparing for the fall elections !

When the voting Democratic majority approves of a war - or the person instigating it - the acceptance of intervention is automatic.

The violence in Syria is a historic fact - our perceptions of why our leaders want to intervene has change - OIL - main stream media keeps showing children walking in circles crying - never mind their mothers are herding them - we just see the pour little children.

Stay tuned for shock and aw !

First of all I do not support Obama with any military action in Syria.
Our inept leader, Obama has outdone himself again. Obama has lost all credibility with our allies.
Even England will not support the United States in Obama plan to punish Syria.

There's alot more to the Syrian war than what you see on TV

British PM Loses Syria Military Action Vote in Parliament

LONDON (AP) - British Prime Minister David Cameron has lost a vote endorsing military action against Syria by 13 votes, a stunning defeat for a government which had seemed days away from joining the U.S. in possible attacks to punish Bashar Assad's regime over an alleged chemical weapons attack.

Thursday evening's vote was nonbinding, but in practice the rejection of military strikes means Cameron's hands are tied. In a terse statement to Parliament, Cameron said it was clear to him that the British people did not want to see military action.

It is going to be very interesting on how the Obama administration is going to spin Obama's about face on his position on attacking Syria.

If Collins has a financial interest in the Chinese company that makes the bombs he'll say it will put people to work and then he'll vote for it.

If he doesn't have a financial interest in the Chinese company that makes the bombs he'll get one and then he will say it will put people to work and then he'll vote for it.

Oh hell, why bother with congress, just ask Dick Cheney - we should all wear WWDD bracelets.

Obama's history-defying decision to seek Congressional approval on Syria

Confronted with a series of wrenching choices over Syria, Obama chose the course that best reflects fidelity to the Constitution as written. Hopefully, in the days ahead, taking that less traveled road by presidents will make all the difference.
