    Riven,

You should be thrilled your assessment went up. Just think of what you can do with the "value" increase you just received.

No, The link is down. try it later, then click on the 800 line and it will list the types that are included.

I see a lot of utility stuff when I looked at the entire state list.

We have spoken about this before and I showed you where this logic was wrong.

With taxes, an owner needs to pay on the potential value of their home as compared to neighbors and not what it sells for. Again, this would prevent someone keeping the value of their home down up to the moment they sell.

Also, banks will not allow a mortgage to close on a house that is overvalued. It works both ways.

Town Board meeting agenda for 9/10/2019 Indicates they will officially cancel the reassessment program.

Kaminski and Nowak put the kibosh on this for now, it has been tabled for a later vote.

Basically for Fairness and a town wide has not been done since 2015.
I'm not sure a "town wide" reassessment was done in 2015, I'm thinking just sections that had lots of sales were done. But I could be wrong. I don't remember hearing about a town wide since owned my property in 2008.
When I say town wide reassessment, I am not talking about bumping up the equalization rate to 100%, I am talking about people driving around, photographing and documenting each and every property like is currently underway.

    Fairness how?

If there are people who haven't had their assessments adjusted for the last 15+ years don't you think that is unfair to those who have been assessed multiple times over the last 15 years?

You saw the example I posted on facebook. Zillow has the value of a home on Pineridge at $249,000!!!!!!

Welcome to Cheektowaga! This is not your average ranch-style home! This beautifully maintained brick home has 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath and 2 half baths, first floor laundry and includes tons of bonuses! This gem has a brand new fully remodeled basement featuring a kitchenette, an extra half bath, two bonus rooms, a fireplace, recessed lighting and includes a sauna! The homes mechanics are flawless. The furnace, central air conditioning and the water tank have all been updated this year (2019). Enjoy off

Lets say there are a 1000 properties way under valued in the pine ridge area. Use that for the comparison home and raise all their values up. They can pay their fair share of the burden that the Cheektowaga Democrats have created for our town. Face the facts and lay the blame where is squarely belongs. Same group who will be supporting those awesome candidates the DNC is going to push come 2020.

Look at all those homes that could benefit from having the value of their home increased. They would be thrilled. Wouldn't you be if you home was valued at $60,000 but now is reassessed to $200,000!

Just think what you can do with all that increased value. Yeah I'm being sarcastic.

Maybe when those 1000+ homes are paying more everyone else might be paying a little less. That sounds fair. Wouldn't you agree?

Perhaps the property owners in town will start to learn why and who have given us some of the highest property taxes in the USA. You vote based on party affiliation you get what you deserve. Pull that D lever and bend over. I'm not being sarcastic.
