BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW)- Thousands of people gathered for the 19th Annual Garden Walk Buffalo Saturday.

"It's the largest garden walk in America," said Cindy Loomis, President of Garden Walk in Buffalo. "We get people coming from all over the U.S., Canada, and overseas who come specifically for our flowers."

Over 380 families opened up their homes and gardens for visitors to admire Saturday.

"We started the Buffalo Walk as a way to let people know Buffalo is still a great place to live," said Arlin Peters.

His garden on Norwood has been a stop on the Buffalo Garden Walk since the first event 19 years ago.

Over the years, hundreds of thousands of people have visited what is his masterpiece: an outdoor oasis filled with beautiful benches, soothing fountains, and flowers in full bloom.
