Mr. Downsize has been endorsed.
Don't have a chance against the Red Coat..
Erie County Democrats on Wednesday evening officially endorsed Kevin P. Gaughan, who is widely known in Western New York for leading efforts to downsize local government, (WHAT HAPPENED IN CHEEK? ) in the race for Erie County comptroller.
In a closed-door vote at the Larkin Center of Commerce, members of the Democratic committee interviewed Gaughan and ultimately approved him as the party’s choice to challenge Republican incumbent Stefan I. Mychajliw. Gaughan’s potential candidacy surfaced last week, when Democratic Chairman Jeremy J. Zellner announced he had asked the longtime political activist to consider running after original nominee Lynn M. Szalkowski withdrew from the race for “health reasons.”

God must love stupid people; He made so many
There are 950,000+ people living in Erie County, and neither party can find a candidate for county comptroller who knows more than I do about accounting and auditing? And I didn't even stay at a Holiday Inn last night ...
Neither Mychajliw nor Gaughan is qualified to get a job as bookkeeper but one of these cretins is going to be the chief fiscal officer for Erie County. That is pathetic.
At least down here in Redneck Heaven we can find people to run for public office who's resumes contain more impressive job descriptions than "professional arse kisser".
