Don't you have until April 15, 2014 to do this? Why would anyone rush to do it? Is there some advantage if you do it early, or some penalty if you wait until the last minute?

Why would anyone do it considering it was passed without due process of a referendum or a vote?

    Whats your strategy folks:

    Register early and often,

    Buy more,

    Hide them,

    Sell your firearms,

    Stock up on ammo.

    I aint tellin.

    be careful

For all of those law abiding gun owners who are going to register their guns, keep in mind that NY State Penal Law, Section 265.04, "Criminal Possesion of a Weapon First degree" applies to anyone who possesses ten or more firearms and is a class B felony...

I guarantee they charge more than a few firearms collectors, who are trying to abide by the registration requirement, with this.

I don't own a vehicle either, I own a car, so no need to register my vehicle.

Are we out of the eight grade yet?

A good internet lawyer such as yourself should use proper terminology. And if the "eight" grade is extent of your argument, then the internet is where you belong.

Some Nations would consider that a responsibility.

The ammunition purchase provision takes effect now, no more internet/mail order ammo, purchases have to be made in person, seller has to be registered with the state.

    From the website:

The law will also require retail sellers to do background checks and record sales once a
New York State database is established and operational. The State database is
currently under construction and not operational, and prior notice will be given to all
sellers on a timely basis before the database is completed and any requirements are
    relevant

That's all you got? Playing spell cop doesn't hide your inability to respond to the rational argument, it just highlights the limits of your intellectual capacity and your status as an internet idiot.
