I think Micky will get the unions....which is a better voting block than the blacks...which Brown has.

After that...you have the rest of the city.

The unions aren't what they used to be............rumor has it that I believe either Arthur Eve's daughter is interested in running also........or is it George Arthur's daughter ? In a 3 way race set-up with this scenario , Kearns would have a very good chance , but the "hats" have not ALL been thrown into the ring yet...........

    I'll vote for Kearns

I couldn't vote for Brown. Not with the way he has treated the Cops of the City. He has lied to us , face to face. I realize he is a politician and that is what they do, but he shouldn't say something, then do something else. It may surpise some, that a Union person wouldn't vote for him, but he has done very little for the BPD.

    I'd vote for Kearns too

He has at least been trying to do something about the slumlords and decomposing housing stock in Buffalo, unlike tear it down and build a village Brown.

I would also prefer not to vote for Brown. I'll have to look more into Kerns.

    Kearns has...

adamantly oppossed any reduction in Police in the South District. Every six months the City looks to manipulate manpower and the South District, being that it has less reported crimes, is the target for downsizing. His efforts have maintained the coverage it has, thus possibly keeping the crime level at its current level. Additionally , he hasn't gone along with Brown without questioning his and Caseys plans, whatever they may be. He isn't another rubber stamp as some in the Council have become.

Will Kearns be putting his resume together so voters know why they will vote for him?
