    Isn't this a personal question?

I just can't choose that answer because I don't see you as a whiner.

They do a real good job here on Grand Island. More importantly, both bridges are always clean and salted.

Cheektowaga is doing an excellent job with snow plowing. In the city, where I work, they are doing ok.

So far this year , I've been impressed but I don't believe we've really had a severe winter in the city , we've had a lot of snow , but not severe storms , or storms at the wrong times , etc.

We see a plow here usually a day or two after it snows. It is a county road but we live by Angola so they come here last.

    So Far so Good

Lackawanna's snow removal on my side street has been OK so far this year.

Great! But then I live on a city line.

They're using a slightly different technique this year that doesn't work for me. The fellow next door plows a lot of his snow into the street and then the city plows it across my driveway. He has it made because he tips the guys. But the same snow then gets plowed all over my 100' of sidewalk, which I try to keep clear for the pedestrians. He also blocks the sidewalk with hard snow about 10' high. They actually have plowed my side of the street over and over, and each time faster, and it's the fast speed that throws it onto the walk.

I do the shoveling and it's too hard to clear after they get done.

I don't know how to handle this without causing an international incident.
