Of the 8 Erie County Legislators seeking re election, how many will get reelected?

Everyone pretty much knows how I feel about it, THEY ALL NEED TO BE SENT PACKING, EVERY SINGLE ONE!

But since this is a democracy( At least I think it is), how does everyone think it will play out once the votes are in?
Thank you New York, may I please have another!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As with you , I too do not want any of these people to survive the election. I hope they don't make it through the Primary.
    We will see.

    I would've voted for 4 to 7, because I think that's likely.

But I didn't because of the reason that's up there.

I still think PC candidates will get 3 or 4 seats, which would give them effective decision-making control in the Legislature (look how important DeBen's or Swanicks one votes were).

But we all have to work hard for them. The PC candidates are going to attract all the resources the Dems/Repubs can throw at them.

We need to help with petitions and support them with fund raisers.

Like Cindy Locklear's at 2:00 PM till 6:00PM today. We should all go.

And no, I'm not in her district, but I will be there.

How about if we consider all the candidates who are running, PC or not?

People have to vote their conscience, not just for the Johnny-come-lately. We have to support what is beleived to be right.

I think Tim Kennedy may have a chance of being elected, having been in the Legislature for half a year he is not a repeat politician.

There is something to be said about the ones who voted against the sales tax increase.

    There sure is!
Why didn't they vote no over the past years they've been in office?
Instead of passing budgets in near unanimous decisions.

They're still whining about not getting budget reports. I saw Demone Smith or some other Legislator whining that they don't get any reports just last week.

Have you heard of a subpoena for them?

Have you heard of a lawsuit?

Has Joe Passifiume been sent to jail for contempt of a subpoena?

    No?

'Cause they don't want the information.

Cause if it shows a new and growing deficit, they might have to do something.

    Bunch of useless pukes.

Makes you wonder doesn't it. You think a elected official higher up would question the legislature of erie county where are thier heads?

    Demand the reports.

DTwarren? Can the people who the legislators represent sue in thier name for this monthly information? Seems they don't have the gonads to force the issue.

Just when you think the public has become more aware they make statements like......

Well here is a reminder for those who forgot.
The politicians we so eagerly elected over the past 5 years and their budget voting record.
Voting on budgets that have help lead to the fiscal meltdown we now have.

And this is how the Legislature voted on Giambra’s budgets:

    * November 2000 (fiscal year 2001 budget): 16-1 approved (Legislator Greg Olma against)

    * November 2001 (fiscal year 2002 budget): 17-0 (unanimous)

    * November 2002 (fiscal year 2003 budget): 17-0 (unanimous)

    * November 2003 (fiscal year 2004 budget): 16-1 (Legislator David Dale against)

    * December 2004 (fiscal year 2005 budget): 8-7 (Legislators Elise Cusack, Denise Marshall, Steve McCarville, Mike Ranzenhofer, Dr. Barry Weinstein, Al DeBenedetti and Lynn Marinelli against)

I don't see Tim Kennedy in that vote agianst?
