CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Cheektowaga Police are on the scene of a hostage situation at the IHOP restaurant on Walden Avenue.

Res.. its the area not good only going to get worse getting like the city in that part of cheek.

That is going to be a tough issue to solve. This is more of a parenting issue not a town board issue if you think about it.

In all honestly what do you think a solution could be to curb crime in that area? Moving the Walmart down the road will not solve that issue.

ng ..time to get out of that area i just seem a house go for $27gs on the street behind you. their... moving on in... cheektowaga central is now up to about 53 percent..

cops surrounded the building for over two hours and the bandits left before they got there???? and no cameras because ihop wants to save on money... not in that neighbor.... hood .... some questions to be answed on those ? glad to see the nfta cops on the seen i thought they are for the airport, and buses.

If you have ever seen the size of NFTA cops you would know why they were there. Not for the crime they were probably already there eating
