I predict that Romney wins it. He has momentum, for one thing, and hasn't had the disadvantage of the 4 year smear campaign that Obama has endured.
I think people are just finished with the Obama Experiment and are ready to bet on someone new to give it a shot.

I think he'll get enough of the popular vote in the swing states to pull it out

I follow the polling of Five Thirty Eight so I predict that Barry wins another 4 years.


What I dream that happens afterwards:

1 - MR wins the popular vote or close enough to get both sides to agree that the electoral college no longer works.

2 - The EC is removed and the POTUS is elected by the popular vote going forward.

3 - Because of this:

3a - All states come into play. Conservatives in California and Liberal in Texas once again have a voice.

3b - The far left and far right no longer can hold hostage to their respective parties. Candidates will need to be elected by the middle.

3c - The leadership of the Democrats and Republican parties are too stubborn to realize this and a 3rd party candidate emerges from the center and a 3rd party is created.

4 - Within 8 years the US is run by people who want to govern for the future not who owns them.

If nothing more it would be nice for the people of States like Florida and Ohio to not have so much power. That said, it's already unbearable in CA with election commercials and this is without many Presidential commercials.

Here's my prediction: It’s the illusion of choice that gives you people the perception that there is a difference being made, that voting matters. In reality, voting doesn’t change anything and it just helps to sustain the current system that so many people are not resonating with. Humanity is in control, we are the creators of our reality. Voting and participating in the false illusion of democracy has allowed the elite to capitalize on our ignorance. First, I am SICK of you right wingers tossing the word Socialism around in an effort to inspire some type of fear in people. Obama didn't invent Food Stamps, Welfare, etc. These so called horrorific Socialist programs have been around for DECADES!!!!!!

They are not expanding because Obama made it so; Blame Clinton signing NAFTA sending good jobs by the MILLIONS over seas. Of COURSE more people are on Welfare. Walmart & the corner grocery store do NOT support an adequate income to live the same way that people who spent their lives in top paying manufacturing jobs could afford.
