The problem you have is thus: You are living in a world of black and white. Yes, at times, I have no issue with someone lying, it's a fact of life. People lie. I bet nobody has called you retard to your face, after all, they're just being polite.

But, this is a red herring: Hochul didn't lie. An unassociated PAC did.

Dan, that halloween commercial was without doubt the worst - made me cringe everytime I saw it, and came to the point where I was grabbing the remote to make it STOP! I thought it reflected poorly on Chris Collins, even though it was made by a PAC. There should be some oversight on the part of the candidate whenever a PAC takes it upon themselves to put an ad together for their benefit, as it can backfire, as it did with us with that Chris Collins ad.

That is false. The rules prohibit candidates and campaigns from having any coordination with PACs whatsoever. That means they're not supposed to approve them, and they're not allowed to force them to be taken down.

Or:

"Is it the responsibility of Food Truck A to dispel false ads about Food Truck B, if Joe Public is buying the ads?"
