    Buffalo

Yes, I hope this forum is not a true representation of what Buffalo really thinks of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion/spirituality, etc. With the the 10 colleges and universities in the area and all of the well educated professors and staff I am sure there is a better representation that strongly to not want to associate themselves on this forum.

Sometimes, I wonder why I even take the time to post on here. Must be my thick skin and determination not to always preach to the choir all the time at colleges and universities.

    Dress

Diversity is in the way we dress as well, take a walk down Pearl Street in Boulder Colorado. It is amazing, people in tuxes, suits, naked, sweats, uniforms, costumes, native clothing, casual, shorts, no shirt, sweatshirts, etc.

What is dangerous is when we stereotype or judge people on how they dress or what they wear.

With 10 colleges and universities you'd think those professors could figure out a way to make all that education self-sustaining instead of so dependent on the taxpayer for its mere survival!

Please go away. With me whats you see is what you get. I dont care what I say or whose feelings I hurt. An educated professor, lets see does he put his pants on one leg at a time? Would kicking his ass be any different then kicking an un educated one?

It seems to me that is all you do think about---race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, culture, etc. You try so hard to be a little bit of everything that you really end up being nothing and certainly don't contribute to the diversity you seem so fixated on.

Its almost as if you define everyone as a function of their culture, ethnicity, religion, race, and sexual orientation instead of seeing them simply as human beings. I'm almost embarrassed for you the way you appear to categorize the people you know as if you are trying to build a collection of as many diverse populations as possible. Like they are some sort of trophy. "Hey everybody, look at me!!! I know three Swahilis, five Sikhs, eight Muslims, 27 Jews, and 14 gay people and I practice all of their religions, celebrate all of their cultures, and dress like them at least once per week. I'm the mostest diversest person ever!"

It's just plain weird. Who honestly keeps track of people like that?
