If you guys don't do the research please be quiet.

The facility isn't just a football stadium and Convention ctr . A museum for kids similar to the one in Rochester that has over 650,000 people visit a year. That's more than the Bills bring in a whole season do the math.

If they move away so be it, the stadium out there is crumbling and people want to pay 200-400 million on a 40 yr old stadium ? But if they stay I see no logic in that.

Think about this. Even though they were in the Super Bowl a few times what did the majority of people in our community get out of it?

Subjective. If everyone in WNY wants to scale back and become a 2nd tier city in the US...allowing the Bills to leave is a great first step in that direction.

There is nothing wrong with being second tier.

Nothing at all. But just consider a lot of things that people enjoy about WNY are benefits of being a low end 1st Tier city. It would not happen overnight but things would change.

    SELF ESTEEM PSYCHOLOGICAL HELP.

And just think if the team was in the city of Buffalo we would have more things happening downtown.

Guess many are layed off downtown because of the SABRES can't play anymore.

    Your serious?

how do you get self esteem from what another group of people do for a living?

You would only have 8 days of "more things" happing downtown. 8 home games....

We have a convention center now... That would just shift the activity from the old location to a new location. Right?

You are comparing apples to oranges.

The sabres play many more days compared to football games.

REs Im starting to think, you are slow. Why do you inisist on saying the games for the Bills is all that's there for the new facility? Our convention Ctr is so shabby, have you ever been to other modern convention ctr in other cities. WOW

Let's just agree to disagree, backwoods(Lil town in West Va) thinking for some and country for some , city life in modern 21 century thinking for others.

Buffalo is never going to get large conventions. It's the 2nd tier that is the focus.

    Slow?

Let see the numbers you are basing your calculations on?

Here is the only point I'm making. Don't put the community on the hook for $100,000,000's of dollars unless there is a return. Most people in erie county will not be employed there and a fair number of people paying for it ($300,000,000) will never benefit from it. So if you gonna use the money lay the numbers out correctly. Right off the bat you or who ever said up to 10,000 jobs from this. Just pulled that number out of the air?

If a group of people want to build it and fund it go RIGHT AHEAD. It is such a good deal why don't they offer to buy the property today? They should be able to capitalize being the #1 entertainment detestation of the USA. Build a $700,000,000 building and forgo the $300,000,000. They can charge rental fees and make a killing.

It is an entertainment venue. That entertainment venue will pull entertainment dollars away from other businesses in the area. Why should they pay (a part of $300,000,000) to lose some of their revenue?

What are the property taxes on something built with a value of $700,000,000 to $1,000,000,000? What an awesome revenue stream for our public schools/Government. They are going to pay property taxes right?
