Read what one of the men in the video said..

People who can't afford it will not vote to bypass the cap for the most part. WHAT PART OF can't afford do they not understand to begin with?

But it's for the children!!! They are only looking out for the kids. How can their salaries go up if they aren't allowed to steal.... err, I mean get more tax money from the sap's.... err the uninvolved parent's of the children.

Seriously: They don't care what the taxes go up to. They make more than most of the people that pay their salary!!! Their state pensions are guaranteed by the taxpayer and once the retire they pay no tax on their pensions. What a sweet deal they get already. But they are mad because the 2% cap is stopping them from getting even more. BooHoo! I have to wonder if the taxpayer will be picking up their court costs as well?

your school district proposes a budget that increases the tax rate by 10%.

If you don't know how to prevent that proposal from being adopted, then you should probably be suing the school district for malpractice that gave you a diploma.

when did voting and running for office become the least best way for citizens to govern themselves?
