I would believe the two major parties are the same.
Non-disclosure and minimalist communication to committeemen. Committeemen are actually poop boys. Constituents and almost all committeemen do not hear about, or are invited to conventions, know about becoming delegate candidates for presidenditial / judicial elections, about becoming electors, about becoming state committeemen. You want change? Read the rules and start asking questions.
Committeemen are supposed to be the voice of the people. That was taken away in 1909 with the removal of the George Washington clause in NYS elecion law. It was replace in 1911 with power given to the party.
Subtle changes in the shift of power to the state. Yes, the state. The party controls the nominating process.
Read the History of the Committeeman here. It doesn't matter that is a "Republican website". It is about bringing integrity to the pollitical process and return the nominating voice to the people.
