As YOUR County Executive, I will return government to those who own it – the citizens of Erie County. County government should not be treated as a prize from an election, where the friends and family of the victor are rewarded with high paying patronage jobs at a time when librarians, civil servants (like auditors, rodent control and probation officers) and sheriff deputies are laid off. Your County Executive must be a representative for ALL who live in the county, not just the select few who are campaign contributors or big business
My keyboard is wet from tears of laughter.....

    Thanks for the entertainment

I don't think the responsibilities of his chef jobs really meet these qualifications, do you?

It was just a big tangled web of lies after the non-published job was handed to Mark Poloncarz' brother, the Chef, and news got out exposing it for what it was - a political/nepotism plum job he would never had gotten on his own merits or experience.

First, Mark "not even a hint of impropriety" Poloncarz claimed he knew nothing about it, had no hand in it, and wasn't going to do anything about it. Then, we had Buffalo Pundit come on here as his shill telling us Rob Poloncarz was an "Executive Chef" at Disney's Epcot Center and, as such, had vast business management experience, including hands on contact experience from handling the huge pool of vendors associated with such a Fortune 500 company - ALL OF THAT WAS PROVEN TO BE A BIG FAT LIE in the preceding pages of this very thread. Our own community acvitism and research totally exposed Rob Poloncarz as NOT being an executive chef, NOT having ANYTHING to do with business management, vendors or CONTRACTS at Disney or anywhere else. Nice work SpeakUpWNY!

The Erie County Water Authority became his winning lottery ticket for employment, future public sector advancement, excessive fringe benefits and a lifetime of tax free pension paychecks.

We'll have to highlight all of the lies and corruption when MP comes up for reelection. Running Erie County government like a business...a family business.

I saw that Erie County cancelled a civil service exam Friday due to the weather; wondered if it was Rob's exam.
