(AP) – Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has passed a directive that will hopefully put the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs for the first time in 10 years. During a press conference Tuesday, Senator Schumer announced that the New York Giants will exchange two of their victories with the Buffalo Bills for two of the Buffalo Bills loses. The exchange will now change Buffalo’s record to 8-4 and give the Bills a better opportunity to make the playoffs for the first time in 10 years.

Senator Schumer stated, “In these difficult times, it is imperative that New Yorkers help our less-fortunate neighbors. It’s the New York way”. Schumer went on to say, “It’s not fair that the New York Giants have 10 wins and the Buffalo Bills only 6. It is our obligation to redistribute those victories and create a level playing field for everyone. We must give all New Yorkers the chance to succeed”.

When reached for comment late Tuesday, Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown stated he appreciates Senator Schumer’s hard work in securing this two victory grant for the Buffalo Bills but he is still scheduling a trip to Albany to meet with Governor David Patterson next week. He feels the Buffalo Bills still have a long way to go and he’d like to see the State dig a little deeper and secure two more victories for the Bills.
