Lancaster Bike Path - Anyone know anything?

I thought I heard a rumor a while back about Lancaster putting in a bike path. Is this still happening? If so, when is construction scheduled to start?

I just heard today that the portion of the path that goes through cheektowaga is scheduled to start construction this coming fall. It's going to be a paved 10 foot wide path. It's goign to run from como park all the way to the waterfront. That's one hell of a path. Hopefully they can find a decent way through cheektowaga and buffalo. I really can't imagine where it'll snake through the populous areas.
