Does anyone have a tax map that is viewable on the internet. I was looking at land in marilla off 4 rod road and was wondering if and who it was owned by.. Not for sale.. just inquiring..

the assors office is only open tuesday nights from 7-9pm, doesn't work for my schedule..

Use the internet mapping system found here:

    http://erie-gis.co.erie.ny.us/websit..._help/help.htm

When you're on the map, zoom into the address, then change the "Layers" to show Parcels, and make Parcels "Active". Once you've zoomed in far enough, you can change the "Zoom In" button to the "Identify" button, then click on the parcel to get the info.

You can go to Erie.Gov and there is a map there. want to see the maps.. call 652-5350 ask for the Town Clerk.. then ask for the lady assessors name and number.. she will meet you there so you can see it.

    She met me before.

On another note i'm glad i was shown that, i am doing a new unit on GPS/GIS and this system the county uses is a GIS system! Another resource to show my students how it is used in the real world!
