The gun grabbers had a field day with this BS civil suit.
Despite a federal law shielding gun stores and gun makers from civil liability when a criminal uses one of their guns to commit a crime they agreed to pay this totally ridiculous payout. The gun shop owner was supposed to magically know the purchaser was not buying it for himself despite signing a federal form swearing that he was not buying it for someone else.
