    So, What Can YOU Do?

    Each of us has a number of great ideas, complaints, commisserations on this board. How about stepping up and acting on them?

    What can YOU do to make things better - make a change in someone's life - make our city/county look and feel better?

    How can your ideas be imlplemented?

    Think about it!

    Has mission of SUWNY changed?

    "Merl";

    This is an especially important topic in light of the near demise of SU caused by 'internal conflict'.

    The original mission of the SU blog was "to make Bflo a better place".

    Has that mission been changed? It now appears the SU is now more of a chatroom or 'friends & family' social club. Thoughtful discussion of important political or social issues in Bflo rarely lasts long before being destructively trolled.

    Fortunately, newer groups like BfloRising, PUSH, BfloReUse, WS Collaborative have brought a new civic activism & greater levels of engagement by many Bflo citizens.

    I would urge that all SU "members" be expected to list what they care about, so that like-minded activists could find each other & share ideas. But I doubt that would be approved.

    Here you have had no response at all to a thought-provoking topic a day later, as it appears that few SU posters are 'civicly engaged'. What does that mean for the future mission of SUWNY?

    Hey Kern,

    Why don't you look into the people who purchased your house in Buffalo?

    It appears as though they are transferred the deed in order to be tax exempt.
