To obtain data on assessment and sales prices for NY "real property", check-out the following NY State ORPS Office of Real Property Service "SalesWeb" http://www.orps.state.ny.us/SalesWeb

ORPS receives current sales information from the town/county whenever an RP-5217 Real Property Transfer report is filed. You may access some of this information by registering for ORPS' SalesWeb by calling our Solution Center at 518-474-6450.

Introduction to SalesWeb: (summarized)
SalesWeb is an Internet application that provides sales information on all NY (excluding NY City) properties sold for the last ten years. Sales information is located by searching for specific criteria. The search is applied to the 3.4 million records included in the NYS Office of Real Property Services data warehouse.

SalesWeb has an extensive help system to assist you throughout your search.

SalesWeb Help topic areas are broken out as follows:

* SalesWeb folder contains general information on SalesWeb, FAQs, and the SalesWeb Dictionary.
* Printing folder contains tips for printing SalesWeb reports.
* Reports folder provides general report information that includes both SalesWeb summary and detail reports.

NOTE: This site does not appear to have "Square Feet" and "year built" for the property (house). Try www.Realestateabc.com to get this data. Unfortunately you will need to merge it by address with the SalesWeb data.
