Sorry to all those Red Sox Nation fans who lost last night , as I've told several people , problem is that the Red Sox Nation's president is also George W. Bush.................GO TAMPA BAY RAYS !!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to the #@%&* Phillies.
No doubt they were the best team this year.
Still can't believe TB folded like a $3 camera.
Hillary will NEVER be President
Obama is a FORMER President
Joe Biden is in Scranton eating paste.
Sorry Win, but a a long time Phils fan I have to disagree and provide the following: (from ESPN.COM) in mid-September, these Phillies were a team dangling from the National League cliff -- 3½ games behind the Mets in the NL East, four games back of the Brewers in the wild card free-for-all. No one could have seen then that a parade was in their future.
But since then, all they've done is go 24-6. Yeah, 24-6. Only four World Series winners in history -- just two of them in the past 94 years -- ever had a better finish than that.
Not too shabby IMHO
we'll have to agree to disagree , I've played ball for close to 45 years & watched it for close to 50.........seen some great teams , some poor ones , this team got hot , next week they could cool down where even the Kansas City & Pittsburgh teams could sweep them...........but congradulations anyways on your team........
I am happy that the sox died.
I am happy that the Phillies won.. I am not happy that the Yankees did not make it.
Fair enough Win, But I will savor this for awhile See you in '09!
Baseball is like politics, the states and teams that do the best are ones that usually spend somewhere in the middle or bottom of the pay scales. They may not have the best or most experienced skills. But they aer the ones who know how to work together as a team to win. Somthing we'll never see here in NY. Look at the teams and states that did well the last few years!
