    I figured I'd continue this way old thread....

    Got my first cucumber this morning....... my cucumbers growing in a pot are outgrowing those in the ground.

    The summer seems to be good for veggies this year......

    I planted a few napa grape tomato plants in the same tomato success kits I purchase 13 years ago. I think they were about $100 each with shipping.

    So.... $100.00 / 13 years = $7.70 a year. They are still in good shape.

    I was lazy this year and just ordered 3 live plants directly from Burpee versus starting them from seeds.
