    Debbie Bucki Rotten Politics

On this new thread we will start by exposing Debbi Bucki's self-serving politics as usual approach to government. This past week the delusional Satish Mohan introduced his so-called no growth budget. Councilmember Marlette must be breaking the mold because it appears as though Marlette has actually read the budget. Marlette correctly and appropriately brought forward a resolution under which town comptroller Carroll and others would be requested top provide back-up and rationales for the "Mohan math". Now, anyone who has been following along at home knows that Mohan is not a details person and that Mohan's work and particularly his budget numbers as well as cost and income projected numbers need to be tested, verified, checked and corrected so as to not result in the town relying upon Mohan's careless and shoddy work (not to mention the mind-bending exertion of non-sensical influence Mohan wreaks upon his deprtment heads, particularly when it comes to numbers and trying to make himself look good).

Debbie Bucki was the swing vote in denying the public's right to look behind the Mohan curtain to test and examine the mad doctor's shoddy budget work. Debbie Bucki just might not want to have the state of the Town's finances made public before the election this year because Debbie Bucki has been asleep at the wheel and done nothing to improve upon the town's functioning or balance sheet in her very misguided public career in politics.
Debbie Bucki has never challenged the status quo and can't be expected to start challenging the status quo now.

Debbie Bucki should not be promoted to Town Clerk and shouldn't be entrusted with the big job of tax collector. This thread will practically write itself.

Stay tuned for the top 10 reasons not to promote Debbie Bucki to Town Clerk.

    Let's ask the Attorney

Sitting in the audience watching the conversation unfold was just too good to be real. Bucki requests the Town Attorney to provide his opinion on utilizing the Comptrollers expertise concerning the budget. The Attorney goes to great lengths to explain that this is not only a good idea, but the absolute correct thing to do. He repeats it and indicates the resolution is exactly what should be done.

Bucki ignores this and votes against the resolution anyways.

WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS SHE THINKING!

Even Mohan said this was never done before, so it shouldn't be done now.

Schratz proving once again that instead of brains, she has rocks, says this is a good idea, but maybe we could do it next year (or something like that).

Weinstein, of course, says nothing of importance; becasue he is nothing of importance.

Marlett counters that that is the very reason to do it. Input, objective opinions, transperancy. All the things Mohan, Schratz, and Bucki ALWAYS say need to be done. Manna and Ward voted for the resolution...these 3 actually get it.

The resolution fails...apparently Mohan, Schratz, Weinstein, and BUCKI don't want anything to do with truth, facts, knowledge, or transperancy. I think we should get rid of them all.

Debbie Bucki through the Looking Glass!

Debbie Bucki and her rotting politics have actually now gone through the looking glass and landed in Alice's Wonderland where nothing is real and truth doesn't matter. All that matters is Debbie Bucki's election to the Town Clerk's position next month. I say let us see the back-up to Mohan's math! Not next year but now!

Pity our beloved town - send Bucki the message by voting no to Debbie Bucki's politics as usual and her shell games that keep taxpayers in the dark!

Debbie Bucki's inexplicable and faint-hearted run for the Amherst Town Clerk position will be further imperiled by her close ties (read - bound hand and foot by Dan Ward's perverse and vitriolic political dictates and lust for vengeance and political retribution).

If Amherst voters are stupid enough to elect the inexperienced and unqualified Bucki, then they will also be treated to the circus that will ensue in the Town Clerk's office as the bizarre and eccentric Dan Ward will call every decision and shot in the Town Clerk's office as Bucki can not stand up to Ward. Bucki has merely been Dan Ward's parrot and there is no reason to believe that Bucki will ever stand up to Ward.

Which is it? All you can do it seems is to cast aspersions on whatever suits your fancy. Why didn't you run for Town Clerk, Supervisior, or Board or any other elected position since you seem to know it all and have no allegiances supposedly except to you and your self serving ways.

Could it be that DB voted with the TS because he endorsed her for the Town Clerks position? You have to remember that the TS does not spend much quality time analyzing any issue that he tackles. He procrastinates (or forgets) and when a deadline becomes near, he goes into a hastened mode, making others devote extended hours in a short time frame to come up with a decision, solution, etc.

hmmm... It would stand for/reason...if he only wasn't the vote that put the current clerk were she is...you can color the picture all you want but the only color you seem to be slinging onto the canvas is brown.
