    Both want to tax someone to pay for some programs. Neither said anything about drastically cutting the gubment. Let just steal money from others to pay for these programs

    They want to cut taxes while we now have 10 trillion in debt and Obama wants to add 1 trillion more to the budget?

    Please explain how this works!!!

    I love the 'fudging' of statistics.

    Obama only wants to add 250 billion more to the budget per year (for a TOTAL of 1 trillion dollars for all 4 years). Obama is proposing around a 70 billion dollar tax increase for the rich (per year based on a projected 700 billion dollar increase for 10 years).

    This will pay for part of the cost. Not the whole cost, but part of it. The numbers are a lot less than you suggest.

    However, I agree that we should NOT increase the budget by more than we take in.

    Additionally, please explain how Bush's logic works by DECREASING taxes while we INCREASE spending on Iraq.

    So that 250 billion is for just his healthcare?

    HOW DO EITHER OF THEM PLAN ON PAYING THE 2 TRILLION WE'VE GIVEN TO WALL STREET IN THE LAST 2 YEARS?
