    Schroeder and Higgins

Did you know that not a single street in the South District is/was scheduled for a repave this year?

Not a good sign for the campaigning Schroeder or Higgins who represent these areas of South Buffalo.

    They're state reps

Higgins is a Congressman and Schroeder is an Assemblyman. They shouldn't be involved in paving issues. That's the job of a Councilman and/or County legislator. Everybody complains about the politicians and what they've done for our economy, etc. So now you wonder what they're doing about potholes? Which is it? Deal with Wall Street and taxes or repaving South Ryan Street? Some politicians pride themselves on issues such as getting streets paved and then they get scored on websites like SUWNY because they haven't done anything to make life here better. Others work on the bigger issues and they get crap for not getting the money (pork?) to get their streets paved. So which is it?

    You know what it is?

Results... anything... something... anything to show for the time they put in.

The whole crew should be working together from local on upwards.

    east sides turn

they are paving bailey ave and broadway, among other east side streets. Brown is getting ready for election day. You might not see a street in S bflo paved because Kearns has all but entered the race. I'll vote for Kearns regardless of the paving situation. The east side also has a disproportionate amount of money being put into demolition of homes. I'm fine with it, too. The vacants need to come down.

Didn't they city offer to take down 100 homes in the next year? And they said it as if 100 was a large number.

It's certainly not to pave the roads.

Mr. Higgins? Mr. Schroeder? Care to chime in?
