I read a little about carbon build up in throttle bodies. I wonder how that could be seeing it's on the intake side of things not the exhaust.

I forgot to mention my repair on the truck.
A a fuel sensor needed to be replaced along with an universal joint in the steering shaft. Just under $1000. Apparently the universal joint wasn't designed correctly and tends to corrode. I know crap happens but it seemed to fail much sooner than I would expect for having 28,000 miles on the truck. I assumed I was having a power steering pump issue. Wouldn't have been good to have the universal joint seize up while making a left/right hand turn.
