Great Deal on Burpee Seeds

I was at Tops a little while ago and hit the mother load on Burpee seeds! No matter what kind: $0.25!!!!!!
These babies will store great and I will be having lots of fun early on. Trust me, I bought ALOT!!! 47 packs to be exact
This is prime time to start a lettuce crop or spinach. Since they are cool weather and have a short harvest time, you'll be in fresh greens well into Oct.
If we do get a frost, just cover them up.
You can also sew spinach in the late fall fro an eary spring crop. They stratify over the winter and start germinating as soon as the ground thaws. Again, covering them with a tarp in the cold helps. Just pull it off and abracadabra: no snow! Faster salad!
BTW: I found them in the floral section in a wicker basket. Also had some mums that needed a little TLC for $1.49
