    I heard this on NPR today, uh yes, even I listen to public radio. Please remove that dumbfounded look from your face!

    The president of The Special Olympics was on lambasting Dreamworks (?) on going forward with using the word retard in the movie. I wasn't moved by his position, I think he made some retarded arguments.

    Maybe it's me, but I think, that it kinda takes away from the whole tolerance thing, when you tell someone that you're tolerating them.

    I mean, suppose you were doing a diversity class at a company, and, someone said to you "Yeah, I tolerate all the blacks here." Would you consider that to mission accomplished?

    Yes, I agree fully my fellow NYCer! I was just playing nice and being sarcastic

    Everyone should know I disagree with the R word fully as an Ally.

    Yeah, "tolerate you" is like please don't do me any favors....
