Still no minutes posted for the 13th meeting or for the two special meetings Jan 7 & 9.

Now if any voting happened at the special meetings the minutes have to be made public. I would say there hiding something from the public.

I will happen to be in NYC the same time as the Conference of Towns and Villages on business. I will see if any of the Town Board is there on our tax dollars overnight after they voted no overnight travel for 2009. Hopefully that will be Eagan's last trip on our tax dollars.

Question Does anybody work at the town hall ???????????

Town Board Minutes January 9, 2009
Emergency Special Meeting of the Boston Town Board
    January 9, 2009 11:00 A.M.
    Boston Town Hall

An Emergency Special Meeting of the Boston Town Board was called due to the Highway Superintendent’s unannounced decision to stop snow plowing various town owned parking areas.

Present: Jim Pluta. Rich Hawkins, Cathy Dobson, William Eagan, Cathy Maghran

The Board directed Supervisor Eagan to take meeting minutes.

Supervisor Eagan noted for the record that all board members were contacted as soon as possible for this meeting.

Before I get off on a rant here, lets be clear on one thing. This meeting is not an executive session. It is a special meeting. With that being said it is a typical friday morning at the town hall at 11:00 AM.

The Town of Boston Taxpayers have funded these positions in the 2009 budget:

    Town Clerk: $43,515/yr
    Asst to Supervisor: $29,750/yr
    Deputy Town Clerk: $29,750/yr
Deputy Town Clerk Part Time (2): $12.75/hr.

If we have all these employees are on the payroll, why was the supervisor directed to take the minutes of the meeting?

Where is everybody? Home? Lunch? Break?

Or did this violate open meetings law?

    Was a notice posted?

    This is poor government.

The Town of Boston Taxpayers deserve better...............
I never said I had no idea about most of the things you said I said I had no idea about.

I'm surprised the City of Lackawanna doesn't have one qualified person that can fill that position.

    Eagan Secet Meetings

Well the town sheep are going to hand out a contract for the Police Barracks to one of Eagan's buddy's. Good job calling a emergency meeting to make the decision, annoucing the meeting after the meeting happend so not one citizen attended. Its all being documented, all the crap this guy is pulling.
