People who don't know the difference between humans and animals shouldn't be flapping their lips about the care of either.

They oppose the shooting of "Canadian geese" in Clarence. First, those geese aren't "Canadian." They are resident geese (albeit of the same DNA as migrating Canadian geese) that have never flown more than 25 miles from their current location. They are the result of a poorly thought out DEC plan to increase the hunting opportunities for geese. Unfortunately, the resident geese flew from hunting grounds to nearby towns and cities where they couldn't be hunted. Their population has grown to the point where they are a serious health nuisance.

His pets come from the Hunte corporation, i.e. massive puppy mill wholesaler in Missouri.

Missouri residents tried to put some restrictions on puppy mills, or excuse me, the new p.c. term "commercial breeders" but the laws were watered down by politicians who were beholden to big money.

I don't know but I'm siding with Steve's pets. Last year, some other group tried to have Amherst make a law to outlaw retail dog selling. And Steve's pets is the only retail dog seller in Amherst. All pet stores don't get their puppies from puppy mills. Just like, not all protestors are *******s.

They are from farm stock geese that long ago lost the ability migrate. The DEC introduced them into WMA's hoping to increase geese hunting. Apparently the geese didn't like getting shot at so they moved to urban areas and suburban areas where there is no hunting.

ROTFLMAO! First & best joke of the day. NOT the situation but the comment!
