real incomes are back below 1999 with inflation considered.. yet these public service folks just continue to suck the life out of the rest of us.
And you got to vote 'no' on school taxes, hmm?Originally Posted by geo_wny

BULL****. Plain and simple. BULL****. You saying you don't have to follow no child left behind? You go on living in denial. The world will be a better place for all of us.Originally Posted by geo_wny

Oh, that's different. You're on summer break. Tell me- how hard has your union pushed for an entire calendar year for an entire school year?
Oh, so I'm off one day and you feel sorry for my students. People being forced to think typically have that reaction.Originally Posted by geo_wny
That's the second time you've incorrectly corrected my comment about taxes. You don't pay NY income tax on your pension, and you don't pay ANY taxes on your lifetime medical. Am I missing something there too?
Tell me more about the benefits...no really, we're all waiting to hear about this. $125K a year? He's gotta be a busy person seeing he can't work maybe 4 months out of the year....Originally Posted by geo_wny
Thinking can be painful. Especially when you're not used to it. I'll wait here for you.Originally Posted by geo_wny

Well since i know you know nothing of this lets try again, I pay NYS taxes on my pension, Thats right, money that is taken out of my check every two weeks for my pension is taxable when i do my taxes at the end of the year. So i pay the taxes now and when i retire it is tax free, but i still pay taxes on it now. For my federal, pension it is tax free now and when i retire i pay taxes on it then, so you see it is not a tax free pension, do you homework....
NCLB...haha.. every teacher hates NCLB and my union wants this... you are an idiot..... every teacher i know does not want NCLB... We have to do this because it is law, i never said we didn't, it is not want we want as teachers... Nice try but still not making your point.. why don't you talk about a subject you know about???

--work only 4 months, think about this one, really, no he works everyday monday through satruday, people get work done on their houses all year long... you are such a tool....
Ohh have a nice life, you make me laugh..
Just bolding the relevant part there, big guy. And so we're all in step on this, what percentage of your pay gets put into this pension?Originally Posted by geo_wny
Do some research there before you start calling other people the same thing you are. I posted a link to opensecrets.org, and I already stated that Ted "Drunken Murderer" Kennedy proposed NCLB. YOUR unions paid for the democrats. Live in denial all you want- if you all think NCLB was such a stupid idea, why are your unions still throwing so much money at the DNC?Originally Posted by geo_wny
Ain't it funny when it backfires? How a union like the UAW buys off somebody like Bill Clinton, and nine years later they're all looking for work? Same thing here, idiot. The truly telling thing is that if you really did know the whole story, you wouldn't even bother bringing it up again because you know I'm right about it.
Here's a little bit more to enlighten the idiotic:
When No Child Left Behind (NCLB) first passed, it appeared to be a political masterstroke. It stands as one of Bush’s few genuinely bipartisan domestic-policy achievements, clearing the House by a 381 to 41 margin with more Democratic than Republican votes. Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) partnered with the White House to steer it through the Senate. The measure promised liberals increased spending and focus on minority-student achievement; it offered conservatives enhanced school choice and tougher standards. By the 2002 midterm elections, some polls found that Republicans had virtually erased the Democrats’ traditional advantage on education issues. Is that all you've got to say about the mystically better benefits a guy doing roofing gets? Nice deflection, BTW.Originally Posted by geo_wny
