Designs in place for West Seneca hotel

For the second time in less than a year, Staybridge Suites has teamed up with local development interests to build one of its hotels.

Developer Carl Paladino, through his Slade-Potters LLC, acquired land from the West Seneca Central School District on Potters Road to build a 112-room Staybridge Suites. It will be located down Slade Avenue not far from a Hampton Inn owned and operated by Paladino.

According to public documents, Slade-Potters LLC paid $500,000 for the land.

Paladino said construction should begin this summer and be complete by early next year.

Talking Progress goes on in WS

It will be wonderful when visitors come to our beautiful city and look out the window of the new hotel and see the growth across the street.
Oh, wait still have Tops, Kmart and well NOTHING BUT A BIG VACANT LOT WITH A BIG NOTHING.
Didn't someone promise to take over the property when he was elected Supervisor?
The land is large enough for a twin pad ice rink which I'm sure a developer
would look at financing. Hum, two hotels, hockey tournaments, extra revenue, maybe a real resturarant would look at building in the area?
Somehow, I remember this 10 years ago when I suggested to the FAT MAN
running WS to do something with the land.
As you can see, my ideas fell on deaf ears.
Oh well, we have the master plan in place, please, please don't
put any additional stop lights on Union Road, we still want to be remembered
as the quick pass thru from OP to Cheektowaga.
    Happy Memorial Day!!!

Perhaps I'm reading you wrong, but where could another stop light be put on Union Rd in West Seneca? Every intersection I can think of has one.

    the light was.....

A JOKE. Just like the Town of West Seneca. The only growth we have in
WS are the weeds that are starting to grow at the Seneca Mall.
Drive down Ridge Road, it is a joke and the sad part is no one gives a damn.
Where is the real business that will bring in tax dollars. OP and Cheektowaga
atleast have people that worry about getting and retaining business.

When I returned to WS 15 years ago, my wife and I looked at homes in OP
and WS. Taxes were somewhat higher in OP, so we decided to buy in WS.
I checked the taxes on the house we were interested in buying back than, and surprise the taxes are $1000 less than I'm paying in WS.

Is there anyone in Town who cares that your property taxes keep going
up, school taxes in the last 15 years have NEVER GONE DOWN.
But we keep putting the same retards on the school board who have agendas.
Either they work for the school system as teachers or family members who
    are teachers.

I need to stop and take my blood pressure meds before I explode.
