I thought we flew to NYC and took the NJ turnpike at about 90 to Atlantic City.
I always preferred the Garden State Parkway over the NJ Turnpike myself.Originally Posted by wheresthesun

can't say. It's been quite sometime since I drove to Atlantic City. IIRC, it took approx 2 - 2 1/2 hours from North Yonkers to the AC Boardwalk (150 miles) .. depending on traffic.Originally Posted by wheresthesun
That would be the Jersey Turnpike.Originally Posted by wheresthesun
I went to AC once and that was while living in NC. Drove there. NEVER AGAIN! The directions we got from AAA were the worst ever provided from them and it turned into the trip from hell. LOL
The Big Bang Theory: God Spoke and BANG! it happened.
It's cheaper to go to Vegas if you have the time. The flights from Buffalo to Philly are outrageous and you are still a couple of hours away. I took a puddle jumper from Philly to AC and thought I was going to die. The plane was so small and flew so low to the ground - we could see in peoples houses. (not quite, but it seemed that way)
Once while in NYC I took a bus from Grand Central to AC and that wasn't to bad. But with all the great rates and comps Vegas offers, it's probably much cheaper to go there.
Planning on just running there for my two little days off so driving isnt an option really.
I will look into the flight to philly thing, thanks BPP.
Was gonna give the catapult a try but Im guessing the old broad I might take with me has a weak heart that couldnt take it.
