But then again... no matter what way you spell it ... it still doesn't excuse the fact that you admitted to breaking the law on several items. Quote: "I speed, roll through stop signs, talk on the phone...sometimes all at the same time"
Right...just like that's a copy and paste.Originally posted by Night Owl

Don't put words into my mouth ... and I didn't change what I quoted you saying, you may be like that (by what you have just done) but if doesn't mean that I am like that.Originally posted by NoCtUrNaL

Not on your life.
Is a police officer allowed to talk on a cell phone while on patrol? I am asking because I saw one on Sheridan Drive talking on a cell. They also have those computers in their patrol car that they read while driving and if they can talk too.......Originally Posted by Jim Ostrowski
From what I've been told, yes, a police officer is legally allowed to talk on a cell-phone while driving.Originally Posted by Teddy Bear
Maybe someone can verify that?
The rule doesn't apply to Cops, they can talk and use the computer too. Take it up with the legislature, they made the law. Same for seatbelts, they are exempt too.
AND IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, their vehicles are exempt from the annual vehicle NYS inspection requirement!Originally Posted by Deerhunter
No they are not. No car driven on NYS roads are exempt from NYS inspection.Originally Posted by joe d.
