Very cool.
And it sounds like Tata Motors that agreed to invest in this car has the potential to become an automobile powerhouse very quickly. The also just purchased Jaguar and Land Rover from Ford.
Woot!

The price of air is going up just watch. It used to be free, now it's 75 cents for 3 minutes. Soon it will be $3 psi
First Amendment rights are like muscles, if you don't exercise them they will atrophy.
We are going to have shortages... just watch....

There was another one on this car that I saw....they're going to make a hybrid model...with petrol to make it faster, and the distance much further.
They say New York to LA on one tank of gas. Now that's economy!
Eventually, it could have an unlimited range...if they figure out how to make the thing recharge itself while running.

So far I like this idea the best. Compressed is not changed in anyway so it is expelled like normal air again.
I am convinced there are alternatives to fuel vehcles but because of select gov and coporate greed these technologies are being held back from the market place. Kind of like Blue Ray burners for the PC in America. Our auto industry is in for a rude awakening in the not to distant future. GM will become known as little M in the future and the corporate execs will be saying G what happened.
Has anyone heard the commercial for CSX transportation? They claim their trains can go 493 miles on a gallon of gas.Originally Posted by concernedwnyer

BUT---we can't seem to find technology that will run a car without gasoline? We can't see to find technology that will run a car super-efficiently?
That's a load of crap, and it's obvious that its all cover up and conspiracy.
Have you seen the movie "Who Killed the Electric Car?" Very eye opening.

Shortages? All you need is your own compressor. We all better run out and buy our compressors now before there's a shortage of compressors.Originally Posted by WNYresident
Thats what I was going to mention. All ya need is a compressor in your garage, and you can also carry a portable one with you in the car when going long distance just in case.Originally Posted by gshowell
I'll buy an air engine vehicle when they make available a truck with 350 horsepower and 375 pounds of torque.

keyboard , "they'll" NEVER make or let it be feasible to be "green" in this petroleum-based world economy..........Whether it be hybrid hydrogen , electric , etc. , it takes approx. 7-8 years to "recover" the savings from the initial costs of these "special" vehicles , don't forget the "planned obsolestion" built in after the 36 month 36,000 miles built in & engineered also..........Which in "parts replacements" doubles the costs & THEY depend on those secondary parts purchases...........Originally Posted by keyboard150
All you'd have to do is order the engine and (maybe the transmission) and install them in your vehicle yourself. Or hire a mechanic/fabricator to do the installation. SCREW WAITING FOR NANNY GOVERNMENT!!! And screw bowing down to BigBrother Guberment!!!!
Its called proactive independence/interdependence.
syl , talk about the "Big Brother" gov't , check out "anyone's neighbor" post in the Drama Room..................Originally Posted by Sylvan
You're right, Sylvan.
In fact, I've been thinking of a business to go into. Maybe selling these engines would be lucrative.
