Cell phone question for the techno geeks

Can anyone provide me with some suggestions here? I wish to drop my business land lines and transfer to a cell phone...A simple solution except for this issue:...what about the fax situation? Is there a way to have faxes sent to the cell phone or computer? My guess is that ultimately I will be using cell service only with a Time Warner cable internet, so no traditional telephone lines at all...how then do I handle the fax situation (frankly, why faxes are even used today given email is beyond me, but I think I still need to have fax capability)...Thanks

Some of our outside sales reps use e-fax. That allows us to fax to a number that sends the fax to their email.

    efax.com

There are others but I have used efax for years and have found it to be very reliable. I believe you can still get a free incoming-only account, but I'm not sure. Another alternative is to get something like Vonage for faxing only. I've done that in the past too.
