I know this is a WNY Music "thread" , but we've had local talent from WNY on American Idol , anyone watch & enjoy Idol & if so , who was/is your fave singer ? Mine is Carrie Underwood & Chris Daughtry....

Watched Idol last night (as well as Tues. & Wed.) , loved that little guy david , he also seemed to cry the hardest when the others were eliminated , I think he's very emotional & it's not an "act" , his song also almost made him cry when he sang John Lennon's "Imagine"...........Some really great atlent this year..........

yeah I think so too bpp , I really don't vote until it gets down to about 4 people left , but don't tell anyone , it's embarassing to admit I vote..........I actually vote for "Dancing With The Stars" too..........

This year I like Chikeze Eze (Sha-KEEE-zeee EEEE-ZEEE) and David Hernandez.

Years back I was a big George Huff fan.

I like the Irish girl the best, and see her in the top three, and probably the winner.

Another great American Idol night for the guys.....they did 80's songs , thought the Aussie was pretty darn good , can't wait for the gals tomorrow..........

My favorite by far is David Cook (the Les Paul guy). His take on Hello last night was something I would actually purchase.

Chikeze is good too.

David Archuleta is a great singer, but his facial expressions grate my nerves.

I can't stand Jason Castro because his hair looks filthy.

Danny Noriega should be moved to the girls group.

Syesha is going to be in the top two.

Ramiele reminds me of the hooker in FMJ. She says no boom-boom with soul man. She says soul man too beaucoup.

Amanda Overmeyer should take Danny Noriega's place on the guy's group.

Carly Smithson has a great voice, but she desperately needs some dental work. She wears so much black, I have to wonder if she is a Sith Lord.
