I'm going to go out on a limb here. Ron Paul will never be president because his views to many are considered borderline crazy, valid or not thats the perception he has by the masses. The masses won't vote for him. He has appeal to a very small portion of the electorate.

Now, that being said the Paulista's will now turn their sites on me personally as being dumb anti American/Constitution and scream of the Jefferson principles which is fine, but deep down in the parts of their hearts and minds they dont want to look in they know I'm right, but will never admit it.

So as we move through another presidential cycle, carry the Ron PAul banner all you want, but know for most of the middle, and all of the left, he's not electable...I'll bow out of any more RP discussion, because its fruitless to try and point things like this out

    Hillary will NEVER be President
    Obama is a FORMER President

How about "I don't believe in Ron Paul's self-centered anti-America" version of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Do you? What, you don't like America?

where is the self-centered anti-America coming from ron paul?

He doesn't think we should be giving money away to foreign countries... it should be spent here at home...or not spent at all... He wants our borders protected instead of us protecting foreign nation's borders... He doesn't believe we should be spending money on programs that clearly don't work.. etc...

None of which have anything to do with the Constitution or the Bill of the rights - they concern polices and political views. You tried to elevate Ron Paul's political views to Constitutional principles. They are not.

I have to agree with nogods here
Ron Paul lost me when he said he said he would not stop Iran from building nukes. Tell me how this protects our borders?

Has a lot to do with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

    Property rights and stuff...

Money is property. You should not take someone else's property and give it away just because you feel someone else is entitled to it.... and that's what some people in "government" do while making sure they are paid handsomely for their services.

What does protecting our borders have to do with iran having or not having nuclear bombs? Nothing. And I thought Ron paul wants to protect our borders. He said so .. He said our troops can protect our borders instead of iraq's borders. He mention we have troops costing us billions in Germany, South Korea and so on...

Why are you worried about Iran having a nuclear bomb while multiple other countries already have them who don't like us?
